Buy the Pepin Tote sewing pattern from Noodlehead.Ā This is a simple tote bag designed with a few optional add-ons. But even if you choose not to add them, it is beautiful and useful as is. The pattern features aĀ front pocket with an optional snap closure,Ā divided interior pocket, optionalĀ magnetic snap top closure, and optionalĀ recessed zipper closure. So many possibilities!

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following format:
ā PAPERĀ (next working day dispatch on orders and FREE UKĀ deliveryĀ over Ā£50)
NOTE: No printed pattern pieces are included.Ā Rotary cutting instructions/measurements are provided instead, as all the pieces are rectangular (just cut and sew, no pattern pieces needed).
Suggested fabrics:Ā Canvas or waxed canvas (7-10 oz.) for exterior fabric. If using waxed canvas, reduce interfacing to 1 1/4 yd and do not interface waxed canvas pieces. Quilting cotton for lining.
Fabric requirements:Ā 44ā³ (1.1 m) wide fabric: Exterior fabric, 1 yd (91.4 cm)* // Lining fabric (includes interior pocket), 2/3 yd (61 cm).
* If using non-directional exterior fabric, reduce to 2/3 yd (61 cm). Because of the tote's exterior construction, one-way directional prints are NOT recommended for the exterior fabric.
Sizing: Approx. finished dimensions:Ā 13 1/2" W x 12" H x 4" D (34.3 cm x 30.5 cm x 10.2 cm).
Notions:Ā 2 yd (1.9 m) of fusible woven interfacing (20"/51 cm wide); twoĀ 28" x 1" wide (71.1 cm x 2.5 cm) leather straps or cotton webbing for handles // Optional: oneĀ 3/4" (18 mm) magnetic snap for top closure; oneĀ size 24 metal snap for front pocket; oneĀ 20" (51 cm) zipper for recessed zipper closure.
