Suggested fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, cotton poplin, linen and broderie anglaise.
Fabric requirements:
115 cm wide fabric: 75 - 130 cm.
140 cm wide fabric: 65 - 100 cm.
If you are using self bias binding, add an extra 30 cm for 0-24 months or 50 cm for 2-6 years.
If you want to make a dress with a contrast collar, you will need a 40 cm x 40 cm piece of contrast fabric.
Sizing: Newborn - 6 years. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 50 cm of 90 cm wide lightweight interfacing; 9-12 12 mm plastic poppers or buttons; 1 m of pre-made bias binding (if not using self fabric); hand sewing needle.
