Buy the Luna Vest & Kite Sleeve sewing pattern bundle from Puff and Pencil. This bundle includes two separate patterns – the Luna Vest and the Kite Sleeve – which work in combination to make a jacket or coat.

The Luna Vest features a collar, snap buttons, and side pockets. It has an oversized fit and can be made with or without sleeves. The pattern includes two lengths.

The Kite Sleeve has lots of volume and a narrow cuff.

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces are divided across two A0 sheets. The sheets will need to be joined with no overlap.

Suggested fabrics: Both patterns are designed for woven fabrics. Fabrics such as canvas, denim, quilted fabric, wool coating and oilskin all work well. The designer recommends using a thinner fabric for the pockets.

Fabric requirements: 

Luna Vest (short version, without sleeves): 145 cm wide fabric: XXS-S, 170 cm // M-L, 180 cm // XL-XXL, 190 cm.

Luna Vest (long version, without sleeves): 145 cm wide fabric: XXS-S, 260 cm // M-XL, 270 cm // XXL, 295 cm.

Pockets: 145 cm wide fabric: All sizes, 30 cm.

Kite Sleeve: 145 cm wide fabric: XXS-M, 70 cm // L-XXL, 80 cm.

Sizing: XXS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 22/24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Interfacing; snap fasteners (vest), 1-1.5 cm diameter, 5 sets for short version or 7 sets for long version; snap fasteners (sleeve), 1 cm diameter, 4 sets.
